M proteins perform a significant role in Streptococcus pyogenes pathogenicity, which is considered one of the causative agents of numerous human diseases. This protein contributes to enhancing the ability to cause infections through multiple mechanisms, including adhesion to host cells and evasion of the immune system. This research highlights the role of M protein as a potential therapeutic target by exploring its associated biological mechanisms. The findings suggest that targeting this protein may contribute to the development of new vaccines and treatments against infections.
