Abstract

the research is concerned with the study the ability of glass fibers modified by copper ions Cu+ 2 to make a new surface for the adsorption some of azo dyes from their solutions water . The dyes used in this study (Methyl orange, Methyl red, Acid orange 7).
At the first column method is used to determine the best ratio of adsorption between different concentrations of these dyes, which ranged between (2-10) ppm shows through the results that the best concentration gives the best adsorption ratio of was (ppm10) and adsorption rate was as follows: For (Methyl orange = 32.29, Methyl red = 40, Acid orange 7 = 40.5686434)
Also it studied the effect of the acidic function and the absorbance values for concentrations between (2-10) ppm for the three dyes before and after the modification by copper ions Cu+ 2 and after installing.
